A rounded and seasoned banker with extensive expertise in Retail and SME Banking, product development and marketing, financial analysis, developing the roadmap for the Bank’s SME Business, he Led the team that developed the first Bank-led free online market place for Nigerian SMEs- SME MarketHub (www.smemarkethub.com).
Also instrumental to the revamping of the UBA Marketplace e-commerce portal. He is currently the Head, SME Banking, UBA Group, Lagos.

He currently overseas the Bank’s SME Business across 20 countries in Africa and has also developed products and propositions to meet the needs of the SME segment while risk sharing with SME-focused institutions. He has represented the Bank at various SME Fora liaising with CBN on SME- related guidelines and policies and also centrally coordinates various CBN’s/BOI’s Intervention funds for MSMEs. He is member of the Technical Team driving the UBA/AfCFTA’s $6Bn partnership to drive inclusive intra-Africa trade through the SMEs in Africa.

An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria – CIBN, The Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, He holds an M.Sc. in Economics from E.S.U.T Business School, Enugu, Nigeria and a BSc in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
