Charlotte Meyn

Charlotte Meyn is the Ibadan representative of the German academic exchange service (DAAD) and a lecturer in the department of European Studies, Ibadan. The DAAD is an institution that is largely funded by the German government and that gives out scholarships both for study in Germany and abroad. The DAAD also counsel foreigners who would like to study in Germany.

 

Before coming to Nigeria, Charlotte Meyn worked in the International Office at Osnabrück University of Applied Science in Germany, welcoming students from all over the world. Before that, she was a DAAD assistant in Abomey-Calavi, Benin Republic. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Media and Communications from University of Hamburg, and a Master’s degree in African studies from Humboldt University, Berlin. She is also a trained German teacher via the Goethe institute.
