Olamidun Ogundoyin
Olamidun Ogundoyin is a serial entrepreneur and business executive with international experience in strategy and operations, education management and managing scalable startups.
Olamidun built one of her earliest start-ups at the age of 20- The Performing Arts School of Nigeria, with the purpose of providing students with unique opportunities and a well-rounded education. In her bid to develop an untapped market, Olamidun succeeded in implementing key strategic initiatives and formed major partnerships with some of the largest public and private sector organizations in Nigeria. Driven by her strong passion for wide development across Africa, Olamidun also served as a Director of Education for the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum where she led the architecture of a nationwide Education Intervention Scheme.
Olamidun completed her MBA at The University of Notre Dame where she was a Forte Foundation Fellow, an executive member of the ND MBA Consulting Club, and the National Association of Women MBAs.
Subsequently, Olamidun joined Huron Consulting Group, New York, as a Strategy and Operations Consultant where she applied data-driven solutions to support major American Universities undergoing operational optimizations such as change management, financial sustainability and organizational restructuring.
Olamidun is currently employing her unique international experience to innovative solutions in Africa. In 2018, she entered the quick-service restaurant industry by founding Sooyah Bistro in Lagos, Nigeria which has since opened 12 branches across Lagos and Ibadan and serving a thousand customers daily.
Olamidun also served as the Country Director of Nexford University, a next-generation American university that enables greater socioeconomic mobility across the world. Olamidun contributed to building Nexford University from scratch and spearheaded its’ strategic mission in Africa- to connect millions of learners with high-quality, dynamic and affordable learning that prepares them for today’s workplace.
